Born - Sept 7th, 1967.
Residence - Westmoreland, Prince Edward Island
Family - Wife Kim, Daughters Madison and Kennedy.
Occupation - Engine Tech at Atlantic Turbines International Inc.
Kent got hooked on racing at an early age while watching his father race at Freetown Raceway.
He worked on his fathers car from 1985 to 1989 doing anything he could to help out.
In the fall of 1989 Kents father purchased Dave Gorveatt's car, he then handed Kent his old car so Kent could pursue his racing interests.
With the help from his parents, crew, and sponsors, Kent began racing in 1990 at Raceway Park in Oyster Bed Bridge, Prince Edward Island.
His first car was a 1973 Dodge Charger.
